Sorry for not updating the website in a couple days. I got another case of the sniffles – of course what good timing. I also took the long trip down to New Jersey to be with my family on this Turkey day.
What a great day to spend some time with family, eat some turkey, stuffing – watch the parade and just enjoy the day. Oh and of course the important part of today is to remember what I am thankful for.

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, I have had the opportunity to think about what I am thankful for. Not that I am not thankful the rest of the year – it’s just that it’s that special time where you reflect and think about it. It’s kind of like New Years – we all have goals throughout the year but we all want to kickoff the new year right.
I’m thankful for having the opportunity to be at college, a loving family, my friends and just being alive. What are you thankful for this year? Leave a comment below!

The trees are really beginning to change here in the Plattsburgh area. We aren’t at peak yet, there are still some trees that have green leaves. However, there are a couple of completely bare trees. Much of northern NY, VT, NH and ME have begun to see some signifcant color changes. The weather has been cloudy and cool the past couple of days and this weather pattern is supposed to continue. However, don’t let this stop you from getting great photographs. The colors will be more vivid during the overcast period. Use the unsettled weather to develop some great mood shots. In photography, there is no such things as bad weather. So grab your camera and capture those awesome foliage shots. Feel free to post any foliage shots in the comment section of this post. I’ll definitely leave a comment on them!
As I promised I will be posting foliage reports on the website. I’m sorry I couldn’t get this out earlier.
