There it was. A gigantic piece of ice in the suite bathroom sink. I didn’t notice it at first, but it was looking at right at me. Peeping over the sink – slowly melting away.

Brushing my teeth at three thirty in the morning was in itself a rare occurrence for me. I guess may be I should stay up more often?
The bigger question is, how did it get there? How did that big behemoth piece of ice get in the sink? No one knows. I guess this is my investigative reporting assignment for the week?

I went to go see the Columbus Day Parade in New York City. It was a rather chilly late morning/afternoon, but the parade was awesome! I got some picture highlights which I posted below!

I saw one of the candidates for New York City mayor, Thompson. He was being interviewed by CBS 2 News.

Here is a marcher for one of the bag pipe groups

I also saw Governor Paterson – who was posing for a picture

A rain shower passed through the Plattsburgh area this afternoon and luckily I had my camera. A giant rainbow developed around 5:30 PM. As the sun was setting, there was a crowd stopping and checking out the rainbow. I went to multiple locations across the area to try to get an awesome shot of this rainbow. One of the more vivid rainbows I have seen.

The seasons are changing, the nights are getting colder and the leaves…well they are changing too. Dotted all across the landscape the trees transform themselves from green to a multitude of color. Ranging from crimson red to bright yellow and orangutan orange.
Now if you’re like me, you’ll want to capture this and may be try to capture a one of a kind shot. Starting this week and through much of October come here to find out where the foliage is starting to change and areas where you should check out. And if you don’t live in these areas…well may be a road trip…with some friends? I’ll leave that up to you.
