New Design/Loaded Site

So I decided to change the design of the website. No biggie. I am still working out the kinks to the website so please bear with me. I have to study español tonight so I may not be able to fix some minor things with the site, but the major issues will be worked out. I wanted to mix up the design and spice things up a bit on the site – introduce some color! I like minimal themes which the last design was, but you need to add some color every now and then.

I’m still deciding what I want to do with the portfolio section of the website since this is where I want to showcase all of my journalism work. I feel it is important for people to see the work that I have done. It’s also a good personal reference for myself to see where I can improve and what I have achieved so far. I added some of the courses that I have taken pertaining to journalism and television production. I also included links to the college websites so you can read the description of the course. These courses do not include general education classes that I have taken. I felt that would be very burdensome, but I can provide a list of courses I have taken at the college level for anyone interested.

Journalism is an interaction and I want to bring some more discussion to the website. I want to hear opinions, thoughts and ideas to my posts and ideas. I feel this website shouldn’t always have to be a one way street and others can contribute their thoughts…don’t be shy!
