According to Pingdom, the most used blogging/CMS platform for the world’s top 100 blogs is WordPress. And that’s up from last year.
The list of blogs was gathered from Technorati. Pingdom then identified the blogging platform or CMS the site is using.
Their findings show that WordPress is growing popularity with content producers. Last year, according to Pindom, 48% of the top 100 blogs on Technorati used WordPress.
I use WordPress for this website. I find its ease of use and the ability to configure and add functionality are excellent features for a CMS. I love the ability to make WordPress as simple or as robust as needed to fit your needs for your blog/website.
